George completed his PhD at Newcastle University in the UK were he worked on mitochondrial disease, using a zebrafish model he characterized the mitochondrial contribution towards Wolfram syndrome.

 

He joined our group from there in 2019 and has been working on our mitophagy projects and interacting organelles.
